We started by cleaning windows

That is not a humble origin story we tell for charm. Window cleaning is a detail trade where the work is judged in direct sunlight by someone standing three feet away. There is nowhere to hide a rushed job. You either wiped the sill or you did not.

What we learned doing it is that homeowners are rarely evaluating technical skill, because most of them cannot. They are evaluating whether you are careful, whether you show up when you said, and whether you tell them the truth about small things. Those signals are how people decide whether to trust you with big things.

So when we expanded into gutters, then roofing, then siding and window replacement, we did not change the standard. We just started applying it to work where the stakes are considerably higher and the homeowner has considerably less ability to check.

Today we handle the entire exterior. That matters more than it sounds, because the roof, gutters, siding, and windows are one water management system. When they are handled by four different companies, every leak becomes an argument about whose fault it is. When one company handles all of it, there is nobody to point at.
